Our Health team comprises health industry veterans with expertise and experience in architecture and health design, hospital infrastructure and services engineering, healthcare ICT network design as well as our core design and contract management capability.
Our goal is to enable exceptional health outcomes for New Zealanders by delivering high-performing health facilities that respond to the needs of clinical staff and end-users, are cost-effective to run and maintain, and are resilient towards the multitude of risks faced by healthcare facilities.
RCP can establish appropriate governance structures for projects with large capital values, overlapping stakeholder interests and high delivery risks. We develop tailored design management frameworks that capture modern health planning and design principles and the functional requirements of all stakeholders while quantifying and managing operational risks.
Most of our projects are delivered in live, operational campus environments, and we have managed many projects with strict contingency and redundancy thresholds and building services redundancy constraints. We continue to research and analyse improved delivery methodologies so that future projects are delivered safely and protect the continuity of health services.
