As our industry evolves, bold and forward-thinking leadership is more important than ever. Our newly appointed Executive Leaders bring a wealth of expertise and a strategic vision that will guide RCP through the next phase of our growth.

Their ability to navigate complexity, strengthen client relationships, and adapt to changing industry dynamics will be instrumental as we look to tackle our long-term goals.

Managing Director, Jeremy Hay, reflects on the changing dynamics of RCP's leadership group.

"The 2025 executive appointments are not just about exceptional leadership but also a recognition of the fresh thinking that is needed to unlock the many challenges our industry faces. These leaders bring a blend of technical expertise and a commitment to shaping the future of RCP through process improvement, strategic growth, and mentorship of emerging talent. I am excited to see how they will unlock new opportunities and drive us forward."

We look forward to seeing the impact of their leadership in shaping both our business and the wider industry.

Matt Lory Director

Matthew is an integral part of RCP's infrastructure team, with extensive experience managing high-risk projects across various sectors, from hazardous waste to public infrastructure. He brings expertise in navigating complex projects with multiple moving parts, aligning various stakeholders to achieve a unified outcome. He thrives on tackling the challenges presented in the early stages of projects, including strategy and procurement and identifying both major risks and the smaller details that can often be overlooked.

Bianca Hurrell Associate Director

Bianca joined RCP in 2011 and has maintained a dual role in winning projects and contributing to their delivery. She leads RCP's national bid responses, playing a key part in securing major projects like the redevelopment of Scott Base and the One New Zealand Stadium. Bianca also provides strategic advisory services, focusing on complex consenting processes, due diligence investigations, and stakeholder engagement. Passionate about the broader social, cultural, and environmental outcomes of projects, she's currently applying these skills to the redevelopment of the Downtown Carpark site into the Downtown West precinct, a major urban transformation project in Auckland.

Christopher Goldsmith Director Digital and Advisory Services

Christopher has joined RCP permanently following his involvement in several of our mission-critical projects and large capital programmes. When RCP secured a major fibre optic network project, his previous telecommunications experience made him the ideal choice to lead the business case. Now serving as RCP's Director of Advisory and Digital, Chris is focused on growing our advisory services and helping clients transform their ambitions into well-structured investments.

Chris Jones Technical Director

Chris joined RCP in 2018 to develop and lead its Wellington infrastructure team. With a career spanning over 30 years in civil engineering across New Zealand and England, he has provided technical leadership in design, construction, and project delivery across local government, consulting, and client-side roles. Chris has a reputation for delivering complex, high-profile infrastructure projects from feasibility through to construction and has been engineer to the contract for several Projects of National Significance.

Rachel Orchard Chief Operating Officer

Rachel has stepped into the role of COO, overseeing RCP’s shared services, including Finance, IT, Brand & Engagement, and People & Capability. With a background in finance and operational leadership across multiple industries, she has always looked beyond the numbers to understand how businesses truly operate. Her hands-on experience in system implementations, HR, and IT has shaped her ability to drive efficiency and alignment across teams. In this role, she is focussed on strengthening RCP’s operational framework to better support its project teams and future growth.
