Scott Base

RCP are part of Antarctica New Zealand’s “dream team” to execute the plan for Redevelopment of Scott Base. 

Director, Nick Beale has been appointed as Engineer to the Contract on the project to deliver a safe, fit-for-purpose, environmentally sustainable scientific research base that will support New Zealand’s presence in the Ross Sea region of Antarctica for the next 50 years.

This includes a new wind farm to power the base. The new base will be built offsite in New Zealand, separated into eight modules, shipped across the Southern Ocean, and installed at Pram Point, all while facilitating Antarctic science.
