Ormiston Stormwater Ponds

RCP provided comprehensive project management services, including design management, contract administration, and Engineer to the Contract services, to successfully deliver two large stormwater ponds that serve the new 18ha Town Centre and wider Ormiston catchment.

These ponds were a significant component of the overall development of Barry Curtis Park, requiring close collaboration with Auckland Council's Healthy Waters and Parks and Reserves teams to ensure seamless integration and coordination of the assets.

RCP's approach to programme management involved early identification of key tasks and associated risks during the design phase, allowing for proactive management throughout the construction process. RCP facilitated effective coordination among the various designers involved in the project to ensure that the works met all resource consent conditions and were fit for purpose.
