RCP is proud to support international cultural collaboration!
We’re thrilled to announce that Jack Bourke is representing RCP at Courants du Monde, a prestigious programme led by the French Ministry of Culture | Ministère de la Culture in Paris.
Jack will engage with global leaders in culture, placemaking, and urban development, exchanging ideas on how arts, creativity, and community-driven initiatives shape vibrant, inclusive cities.
Cristean Monreal, Director at RCP, shared:
“Placemaking is about more than just the built environment—it’s about crafting experiences. Successful precincts leave a lasting impression, not just because of their design, but because of how they make people feel. Aotea Arts Quarter exemplifies this—an arts and culture precinct where creative energy meets world-class urban design, seamlessly integrating performance, public spaces, and hospitality.
Completing the picture means ensuring that precincts like Aotea Arts Quarter offer the right mix—vibrant food and beverage options, dynamic public spaces, and a strong cultural heartbeat that invites people to stay, connect, and engage. Jack’s participation in Courants du Monde will bring fresh insights into how cultural districts worldwide are achieving this balance, reinforcing our commitment to creating spaces that truly thrive.”
As advocates for placemaking and cultural infrastructure, RCP is excited to learn from this international exchange and apply these learnings to our projects—ensuring that precincts like Aotea Arts Quarter don’t just function, but inspire, energise, and enrich the communities they serve.
Congratulations, Jack—looking forward to seeing how these global perspectives influence our work here at home!
